Regional Webinar on the Cape Town Agreement – Africa

The International Maritime Organization (IMO), in cooperation with the Pew Charitable Trusts, is organizing a two-day Regional Webinar on the Ratification and Implementation of the 2012 Cape Town Agreement for Africa, which will be held on 23 and 24 February 2021 in English and French, with simultaneous interpretation facility.

The primary objective of the Webinar is to promote the importance of the 2012 Cape Town Agreement and to share information on the lessons learned from States that have already ratified it, or are currently in the process of doing so. The Webinar is intended specifically for decision-makers from maritime Administrations and fishery authorities and we would greatly appreciate your kind assistance to forward the invitation to the correct authorities in your country.

Participants to the webinar should be authorized by the relevant Government authority and register themselves by picking the appropriate language in the registration form below not later than 12 February 2021.
