Stop Illegal Fishing is an independent not-for-profit organisation working to ensure that fish are caught, traded and processed legally so that African nations and their people can enjoy the full benefits of their fishery resources.
Our work

SIF is committed to working with governments, inter-governmental organisations, and partners to tackle the root causes of IUU fishing to protect Africa’s fisheries and those who depend upon them. Through our different approaches and our network of Members, SIF is committed to making a tangible difference.
