Sally Frankcom, Vice Secretary

Sally joined the Executive Committee in 2021, having been involved with Stop Illegal Fishing since it was established in 2007.

As Stop Illegal Fishing’s communications expert Sally has worked to establish the organisation’s branding and develop communication strategies. Taking the lead on publications, branding and communications Sally has been responsible for many of SIF’s flagship publications and report material including work on NEPAD’s Partnership for African Fisheries, FISH-i Africa and the West Africa Task Force.

‘It has been a great privilege to be involved with Stop Illegal Fishing, and to see it grow from an idea to an effective organisation making change in a challenging environment. Out of the spotlight there are real people making a real difference in a way that will create lasting change and benefit future generations.’
